Gary Santos Announces Mount Pleasant Mayoral Bid

Using the soon to be opened Mount Pleasant Waterfront park as a backdrop, Gary Santos announced his bid to become the new Mayor of Mount Pleasant.
"It is with great pleasure that I announce my candidacy for Mayor of Mount Pleasant for the upcoming November 2009 Election," Gary Santos announced.Santos is a a 13-year councilman .
"We've been on a great road and Mayor Hallman has done an excellent job leading us down the current path with infrastructure and things we've done and all I want to do is continue on this path," he said.Facing a recession unfinished town projects and continued growth Santos vows to work for the people."I'm working for open government, I'm working for doing the things they want us to do making their life easier we want to maintain the quality of life that's always been here in Mount Pleasant," Santos said.
